About Us

Sound & The City started with a simple feeling, wanting more out of the spaces we spent our time in.

As two women with Cuban and Filipino roots, music, culture, family and community have always been a huge part of our lives. Growing up, music wasn’t just something playing in the background. It brought people together. It created memories, conversations, energy, and connection.

As we got older, we realized a lot of spaces today felt disconnected. Everything became so fast, loud and performative that people forgot what it feels like to genuinely connect with one another.

So we created Sound & The City.

A space inspired by music, culture, creativity and human connection. A place where people can come as they are, feel inspired, meet good people, hear good music and be part of something meaningful.

This isn’t just about throwing events to us. It’s about creating experiences that actually make people feel something.

Every city has its own sound, energy, story and we want to bring that to life through community, atmosphere, music and culture.
